It’s not my thing either so I don’t blame you. Yeah, well last night I was. I just want to meet as many people as possible, you never know who you could run into or who knows who.
Yeah, never know who you might bump elbows with around here. It’s nice but also stressful. Did you meet anyone exciting?
No thankfully she met someone else and I don’t have to deny an more offers into her bedroom. She is a very sweet girl, I just didn’t feel that way about her. I really do love my television and How I Met Your Mother happens to be one of my favourites, even though the finale broke my heart in half.
Well, that’s good. I’m glad she’s nice about it. Those situations can go south fast. I’ve never seen such out cry for a show finale before. The internet was a scary place that week.
Blaine was absolutely shocked when Kurt called his name because frankly, he wasn’t expecting someone as…well…famous as Kurt Hummel to remember him. He smiled brightly and he let Kurt ramble on, adoring the way that the handsome man was talking. he was just so cute that he could be talking about potatoes and Blaine would be intrigued. “Surprise? Well, um, welcome to my Starbucks!” he greeted Kurt as he wiped down one of the coffee machines. “I can make you a Chai latte,” he teased gently. He grabbed a venti cup and began to make Kurt’s drink. “So what are you filming right now?” he asked to make conversation.
“One Chai latte then,” Kurt said with smile as he playfully rolled his eyes. “We’re finally filming the last few episodes of the season so it was actually the big set up for season three’s conflict. I’d tell you more, but you’ll have to wait until it airs.” Kurt watched Blaine make the latte and wasn’t using it as any sort of excuse to check the other boy out. Not at all. Kurt looked around the room so that he wouldn’t get caught staring and laughed, “Busy night, huh?"
TV shoots aren’t the worst thing in the world, I guess it depends if you’re cast or crew? Parties are fun, it’s good to get your face seen at these things. I’ll definitely be spending the rest of today in bed though.
Cast. Definitely cast. The crew is great, but that’s just not my thing. So doing the whole party thing more for business then?
What kind of shoot? But that doesn’t exactly sound fun at all. I’m heading out to a few parties, even if I am kind of tempted to crawl into bed and stay there instead.
TV shoot. We’re on location today, so it’s nice to get out of the studio for a little bit. Parties are nice although a few seems like a lot. Especially if you’d rather be in bed.
I am still good friends with her, I don’t know how, but somehow we kept a connection. I am really nice. I’m like Marshall Erickson nice. I envy you for being able to say things that people need to hear but don’t want to.
See! Not surprised. Is she still trying to sleep with you or is she over it? I feel like it’d be hard to keep a friendship with someone like that. Throwing down the How I Met Your Mother references, huh?
Blaine was having quite a long day at Starbucks. Normally he was quite patient with people but after being asked seventeen times for a extra hot cappuccino with no sugar, or a silly mocha frap, he was just tired. He wanted to make soft and subtle coffee, one where you could just sit for hours and drink because there were so many delicate layers to the drink that it was intriguing but here he was, serving over priced, mediocre coffee. He was busy wiping down the counter when he heard the little bell on the door ring. He looked up and was shocked to see the ever so beautiful Kurt Hummel walking into the store. Boy was he screwed.
Kurt walked over to the counter to order a coffee and looked up. “Blaine?” he asked. “I didn’t know you worked here! Well, I knew you worked at Starbucks obviously, but I didn’t know you’d be at this one.” Kurt was rambling. He knew he was rambling but he couldn’t really stop himself. “We had a night shoot around here. I was going to get a coffee for the drive home, but maybe I should get that Chai tea latte I was promised.”
Kurt had had a long day of filming. It had been fun, and it was nice to get away from the studio for a day, but the hours were much longer than normal so that they could get everything they needed from the location done that day. They weren’t filming in a part of town that Kurt was particularly familiar with so he decided to stop by the closest Starbucks to get a coffee. He really didn’t need to be driving around half asleep. When he walked into the store and was hit with that coffee aroma he already felt more awake and smiled.
Busy is like the understatement of the century but yes, you would be right. What exciting plans do you have for tonight then seeing as it is indeed Friday?
Stuck with a late night shoot. Fun, but not the kind of fun I usually look for in a Friday night. How about you?
